Week of April 16 2023
Good Morning,
Good Morning,
School vacation week begins Monday, 4/17 through 4/21. We wish all of our students and families a fun filled April vacation week!
There is a half day on Tuesday, April 26 for all students due to conferences. All students will be dismissed at 10:45 a.m. Conferences will be remote on Tuesday afternoon, April 25 and in person the evening of April 26. If you are having trouble scheduling a conference, don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher or the school office.
We are fortunate to have community partner Ms. Claire Reilly (the Tooth Fairy) from Dentistry for Children visit with our students on April 27 and 28. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist and Community Educator that will speak with our students about the importance of proper dental hygiene.
The last day of school for Johnson ECC students is on Tuesday, June 13th. Dismissal for all students will be at 10:45 a.m. due to the District Wide Professional Development Day.
Safety: Please drive slow when on school property! We ask that families and caregivers obey all STOP signs and slowly and carefully drive over the speed bumps. Safety is a top priority for our students, families and staff.
Dogs on school property: WPS has a policy about animals in school and on school property. (Policy IMG) We ask that you refrain from bringing your pets to drop off or pick up. We have many students that are afraid of dogs or may have allergies. To keep all students safe, we kindly ask that you leave your pet either at home or safely in the car when picking up your student.
Have a great week!

Parent Council
Looking for new members! Our current leadership team will be moving on to the primary schools this fall. We value and appreciate all that they have been able to do this school year for our students and staff. Please consider joining this amazing group of volunteers that provide support to our Johnson School community as we will be looking for future leaders for the 2023- 2024 school year.
Parent Council provides many opportunities for you to connect with other parents and become involved in the Johnson ECC school community. Parent Council supports our students and teachers with educational programs, supplies, and more. Parent involvement is the foundation for school success. Have a suggestion or a talent to share? We want to know!
