Happy October, Cardinal Families!
We are already at the halfway point of our semester! Our students are thriving and should be getting used to the requirements of our program. It's been so great to see the progress being made across all grade levels.
Seniors enjoyed a senior breakfast social last week where they were able to come on campus, meet their fellow seniors, and enjoy some snacks. Our Freshman and Sophomores will be coming on Wednesday, (10/1) to hang out and enjoy some games as well... Don't worry, Junior, Middle School, and Elementary... your events are being planned, as well... Look out for information from your teachers!
By now, students should be about 50% complete in their courses. Think of this as the mid-race checkpoint—it’s the perfect moment to celebrate wins and make adjustments if needed.
-
Grades 6–12: Aim for Blue or Green on the Progress page (on pace or ahead).
-
Grades K–5: Students should be halfway through their learning plans, based on teacher pacing and check-ins.
Progress Reports will be emailed home by Oct. 17—please review them and bring questions to your conference. To make sure everyone finishes strong, we’ll connect during Parent-Teacher Conferences (Oct. 20–24). These meetings are a chance to reflect on progress, set goals, and ensure students have the support they need. Please plan on attending your student's weekly one-on-one meeting with their teacher that week.
Just a reminder that help is here for your student, if they need it. AirTutors Online Tutoring is available through the Clever app! Students can log in anytime they need some extra help. Our Student Success Center is open Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Drop in for a quiet space, support, or just to get back on track.
Just another reminder weekly teacher meetings are required—thanks for keeping those consistent. Class meetings matter are also required, as they help students stay connected and engaged with their peers. If progress isn’t on pace, please reach out early so we can work together on a comeback plan. Students who fall too far behind may enter the Tiered Re-Engagement process, so let’s keep momentum strong.
We’re grateful for the energy and effort you pour into helping students succeed. October is a turning point, and with your support, we’ll keep our Cardinals on track to soar into the second half of the semester with confidence.
With appreciation,
Annabelle Lee
