CHIPS Weekly Update

It’s hard to believe that the end of the school year is here! Teachers have been busy planning end of the year celebrations with their students, and we are so excited to have you join us for these celebrations! Classrooms will be holding their End of Year Celebrations beginning Tuesday, June 3rd. Your child’s teacher has let you know when the celebration for your child’s session is scheduled. If you are unsure of when your child’s celebration will be held, please contact your child’s teacher or call the CHIPS main office.

Please keep the following in mind to keep our celebrations running smoothly:

• Please enter through the front door of the building, not the CHIPS entrance. You will sign in there and be directed to your child’s celebration.
• Parking at CHIPS is quite limited. If possible, consider carpooling. You may need to park on one of the neighboring side streets.
• Classrooms are holding their celebrations at various times over the last couple of weeks of school. On some days, multiple celebrations are scheduled. With this in mind, please limit your visit to your child’s scheduled celebration time to help reduce congestion.
• Many parents choose to take their children home with them after the celebration. If you are taking your child home with you, please make sure you let their teacher know. If your child normally rides the bus and will be going home with you after the celebration, please let the bus company know as well.

We definitely had Goats & Giggles this week! When families purchase items like raffle tickets, baked goods, Spirit Wear or SquareOne Art the PTO receives funds to put back into the school. Due to the

overwhelming generosity of families this year we had additional funds and were able to add an enrichment. On Wednesday we had a wonderful visit from Chip-in Farm. Thank you so much for making today such a special day for our students and staff!

Our last PTO event of the school year is our Touch a Truck. This event is rain or shine. If you would like to sign up to assist students in and out of the vehicles we would love the help!

Our next meeting (and final meeting of the year) will be on Monday, June 9th at 6:30pm at CHIPS. As always, there will be a link for those who would like to attend virtually. The meeting link is below.

• June 5 & 6- CHIPS Game Days (weather permitting)
• June 10- Touch a Truck (rain or shine)
• June 16- Last Day of School for CHIPS Students

If your child will be going to kindergarten, please see the document below for physical/vaccination requirements. Feel free to reach out to Nurse Kristen with any questions.
