Parent–Teacher–Student Conference Day
Tuesday, December 9, 2025 - No school for students
Our Parent–Teacher–Student Conference Day is an important opportunity for families and educators to come together in support of student learning. These conversations help ensure every student is on track, supported, and working toward clear goals for the year.
Conferences will take place in two formats to give families flexibility:
Virtual Conferences on Microsoft Teams (By Appointment)
1:30–3 p.m.
Families will be able to schedule a 10-minute virtual meeting with their student’s teachers during this window. Information about how to sign up for virtual conferences will be shared soon. Students are encouraged to attend alongside their families.
In-Person Conferences (Drop-In Format)
4–7:30 p.m.
Teachers will be available across designated spaces on campus. Families are welcome to drop in at any time during the in-person window. These conversations focus on progress, classroom experiences, and the supports students may need as we move into the second half of the year.
Conference Day is an important chance to:
• Understand how your student is progressing academically
• Discuss strengths and areas for growth
• Ask questions and learn how to support learning at home
• Strengthen the partnership between students, families, and teachers
We look forward to seeing you on December 9 and working together to support every student’s success.

Virtual Group Therapy Sessions Available After School Hours
Students now have the opportunity to participate in recurring online group therapy sessions designed to support mental health and connection. These virtual groups, led by licensed mental health clinicians from the Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic (OBCC), provide a safe and supportive space for youth to share experiences, learn coping strategies, and build community.
Made possible through support from the City of Seattle Department of Education, each series runs for four to six weeks on Zoom during after-school hours. Topics vary and are shaped around participants’ needs.
The next group, Behavioral Activation, is tentatively scheduled from January 7 to February 4. As new sessions become available, students and families can request enrollment through the links provided in the attached flyer. After completing the request form, an OBCC staff member will contact families with next steps.
For more information, contact the OBCC Behavioral Health Family Advocate at 206-987-7010.
