GILLETTE STADUM FIELD TRIP

Mr. Riley’s Digital Media students attended a field trip to Gillette Stadium on May 6th where students learned about promoting specific events at the stadium and came up with a game-plan of how to get the message out to an audience. Students then toured the Hall of Fame and went on the field with Mr. Riley, who is also the game day voice of the stadium during Patriots and Revs games! Thanks for the insider scoop, Mr. Riley!

ATTENTION SENIORS AND JUNIORS

We have many exciting events coming up over the next few weeks, including many Senior activities and our Junior Cruise! Please remember the following:

  • Students must attend school for at least a half day in order to be eligible to attend these events (a half-day is defined as being present in school from 8:30 - 11:30 AM or 11:30 AM - 3:05 PM).
  • Pre-event preparation (such as organization of prom, cruises, dances, or athletic events) is considered an unexcused absence/dismissal.
  • There are NO sanctioned “skip days” at WHS. Student-organized “skip days” undermine the educational process. The school will not accept parental excuses to participate in “skip days.” Students involved will receive an unexcused absence.

To ensure accurate attendance for your student, please submit any absences or dismissals using the appropriate form (absence; dismissal) no later than 9:30 AM on the day of the absence/dismissal. For planned absences or dismissals, you are encouraged to submit the form in advance.

Additionally, please review the Senior Events newsletter for information related to Senior's end-of-year events, including graduation.
