Lions' Update

Message from the Principal

Families,

What a fantastic start to the school year we’ve had! It has been wonderful to see our students back at Mount Lebanon School, excited to see their friends, meet their teachers, and get their brains working again! There is such a positive energy throughout the building.

I’ve also loved seeing new friendships develop as our classrooms work together to build strong, welcoming classroom communities.

The weather cooperated this week, which meant we were able to enjoy recess outside every day! We’re always happy when the sun shines and our students can get outside to run, play, and enjoy some fresh air.

Parents, PLEASE take a moment to label your child’s clothing! We are already finding quite a few light sweatshirts and jackets outside with no names on them.

When clothing is labeled, we can easily get it back to the right classroom. When it isn’t labeled, it goes straight to the Lost and Found. A quick Sharpie or clothing label can save everyone a lot of time—and hopefully help us reunite those lonely sweatshirts with their owners!

Thank you to everyone who has downloaded the Pikmykid app on your phone! We appreciate your help getting this system up and running.

Please take a moment to check that your email address is also listed in Pikmykid. There are times when we need to send a message to families on a particular bus route, and Pikmykid allows us to communicate those important updates quickly.

And finally, a HUGE shout-out to our families! Almost every family has updated their information in ALMA. Thank you so much for taking the time to complete this important task. We appreciate your partnership!

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at kroach@sau88.net.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy the sunshine, get outside, and give those hardworking students a chance to recharge. We’ll see everyone Monday ready for another great week at Mount Lebanon School!

Sincerely,

Katie Roach
