Indian Prairie Family Newsletter
September 7, 2025
Every Child, Every Opportunity, Every time !
Dear Indian Prairie Families,
As we prepare for our first full 5-day week, we are eager to maintain and build upon the positive momentum we have established thus far. Tomorrow, September 8th, is particularly noteworthy as we enthusiastically welcome our PEEP students for their very first day in our learning community. Our dedicated PEEP teachers stand ready to embrace these young learners with warmth, open arms, and bright smiles, ensuring that each student feels valued and supported as they embark on this exciting educational journey. We look forward to fostering an environment that encourages growth, curiosity, and a love for learning.
Warm regards,
Ms. Tammo Nelson
Principal, Indian Prairie
Welcome New Staff
I would like to take a moment to extend a warm welcome to our new staff members who have joined us this year. We are excited to have you as part of our school community and look forward to the positive contributions you will bring to our team. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to our students. Let’s continue to support one another as we strive for excellence in education
Volunteer Background Check Information
We greatly appreciate the invaluable contributions of our volunteers, who support our school community in numerous ways. To ensure the safety and well-being of all our students, it is essential that any volunteers entering the building while students are present have a background check on file.
Please see Ms. Carol, our office secretary, regarding the background check process. If you are interested in becoming an approved volunteer, forms are readily available in the school office. Once your background check is approved, it remains valid for a period of six months before requiring renewal.
Should you have any questions or need further clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to assist you!
