- As we wrap up the school year, thank you to our learners, staff, and families for making my first year as principal such a positive experience. I am grateful for your support, partnership, and dedication to our school community.
I am proud of all we accomplished together this year and look forward to building on our successes, setting new goals, and planning for another great year ahead.
Thank you for all you do, and I wish everyone a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer.

June 5- Last Day of School: Report Cards go Home
June 12 - Last day to order school supply kits
August 12-13: Kindergarten Assessment Screening
August 19 - First day of school for students
August 24 - First day of Pre-kindergarten & Kindergarten

School Registration is Open!
Online Registration for the 2026-2027 School Year is NOW OPEN
Visit District 10's School Registration page to register for the 2026-2027 school year. Registration for all student (new students and returning students) is completed online. The option to start the registration process and submit at a later time exists.
School registration fees, gym uniforms, milk, transportation, etc. has been added to TeacherEase for payment. Registration fees and transportation fees are due at the time of registration.

As we prepare for a successful summer, please encourage your students to continue living the 8 Keys of Excellence while away from Peacock. Some helpful information found below.

Summer iReady Lessons
All Benson students have access to individual and personalized math and reading lessons through iReady. Login information was sent home this week.
- Through this platform, students will follow an individual learning path that provides interactive lessons on specific academic skills. Grade level teachers Have taught students how to use this program. Students are welcomed and encouraged to complete these lessons outside of school as well!

Building Responsibility Together
8 Keys of Excellenace
As we head into summer, we encourage students to continue practicing the 8 Keys to Excellence in their daily lives. Whether at home, in activities, or with friends and family, the 8 Keys provide opportunities to reflect on choices, build positive habits, and demonstrate strong character. We look forward to continuing this work together next school year. More information about each key and it's meaning can be found here.
