St. Francis de Sales

O most Holy Virgin, immaculate in body

and spirit, look kindly on me as I implore

your powerful intercession.

O most Holy Mother, receive my prayers

as I present them to God.

(state your intentions here)

O Mary, Mother of Jesus and our Mother,

you intercede for us with your Son.

O Mary conceived without sin,

pray for us who have recourse to thee. Amen.

During this Second Week of Advent we are called to reflect on what gives us peace, that deep down, real peace we all need as we prepare to receive the Light of The World.

Father of all, so great is Your love for us that You gave us the gift of Your Son. He healed us, forgave us, and showed us the way to You. May we always know the joy and hope of His presence among us. We make this prayer in the name of Jesus, our Lord.
Amen

Last week we welcomed our Visiting Committee for the pre-visit portion of our upcoming WCEA accreditation visit. The team had the opportunity to meet the faculty and staff, receive the school’s Self Study, and tour the campus in preparation for their upcoming three day visit in January. Our faculty and staff have worked very hard in preparing the school's Self Study and we look forward to welcoming the Visiting Committee back next month.

We especially wish to thank the WCEA Visiting Committee, as the accreditation process is such an important part of our ongoing effort for school improvement. The Visiting Committee (pictured at the right) includes Mr. Gregg Nunley (Bishop Gorman High School), Mrs. Katie Golec (Our Lady of Las Vegas), Ms. Dana Lashley - Chairperson (from the Archdiocese of Seattle), Mrs. Claudia Escobar (St. Elizabeth Ann Seton), and Mr. Len Urso (St. Elizabeth Ann Seton). We truly appreciate their dedication and contributions in service to our ministry in the Archdiocese of Las Vegas.
