Welcome Back, Steeby Families!

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! We are so excited to welcome our new and returning students and families back to Steeby Elementary.

At Steeby, we know that relationships come first. Every smile at the door, every greeting by name, and every act of kindness helps create a place where students know they matter. When we feel connected, supported, and valued, we do our very best. That's what "We Belong" means at Steeby.

Thank you for trusting us with your children. Together, we'll continue building a school where all means all, every voice matters, and everyone belongs.

We're so glad you're here. Go Wildcats!

Your partner in education,

Mrs. Bailey, Principal

Get ready, Wildcats — our newest passive fundraiser has officially arrived at Steeby Elementary, and our entire community can take part every single day!

Our Steeby Clothes & Shoes Recycling Bin is now on-site and ready for donations!

You’ll find the collection bin outside the west 2nd grade entrance (in the grass area facing the church), making it easy and convenient for families to donate during daily drop-off and pick-up.

Here’s the exciting part:

  • We can collect new, gently used, worn out, and even completely tattered clothes and shoes.
  • Clothing items are recycled into animal bedding.
  • Shoes — in ANY condition — are pelletized and transformed into playground materials.
  • And for every pound collected, Steeby earns money to support our students!

That means cleaning out closets can directly support our Wildcats. Woo hoo!

The company services the bin weekly (or sooner if needed) and the bin includes clear signage about acceptable donations along with a built-in monitoring system to help prevent overflow.

Easy. Clean. Efficient.

This is one of those simple “set it and forget it” opportunities that allows families to give back just by decluttering at home. It’s sustainable, community-driven, and directly benefits our students and school.

Thank you for helping us make a positive impact — one bag at a time! Go Wildcats!
