Randall Weekly Update - Week 23
❤️❤️❤️Valentine's Day Celebrations
Today was truly the highlight of the week. Our classroom parties were a huge success, but what stood out most to me was how much fun we had while also continuing our learning. While the candies, chocolates and treats are fun, the real value of today was watching our students give compliments, include each other and be kind toward each others. These events are not possible without support. A heartfelt thank you to our parents who organized games, and every family who sent in supplies, treats, or cards. Your contributions created lasting memories for the children today.
⚡🤪⚡"Tat" the Teacher
What an unforgettable event with our first ever 'Tattoo the Teacher' challenge! The energy in the building was electric as students covered our staff in colorful temporary ink, but the real highlight was the grand finale. A massive congratulations to Ms. Kersting’s 1st Grade class for winning the competition! Thanks to their incredible effort, I held up my end of the bargain and am currently sporting over 200 tattoos from head to toe. I may be scrubbing these off for weeks, but seeing the joy and laughter on the students' faces made every single one worth it! (see pics below)
I look forward to continue working with you and our students throughout the 2025-26 school year. It is my goal to be as clear and supportive as possible. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly at agarcia@randall.k12.wi.us with any questions or concerns.
Thank you,
Alexandra Garcia-Bankowski

From Ms. Roth
Hi Randall Families!
Last week in our Social-Emotional Learning curriculum, we began a new topic- HONESTY. We had circle discussions to talk about what that word means and why it is so important. This week in Guidance, we watched the short story, "The Boy Who Cried Wolf." The students were so invested in the story. They were easily able to answer questions after the story about why it's so important that we always tell the truth so it felt like the perfect story for our topic.
As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns. :)

Speak Up Speak Out Program for Randall
Randall School is pleased to announce the launch of the SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT confidential tipline as part of our school safety efforts. Tiplines are used to identify threats to schools, and for concerns impacting school age youth such as bullying, drug use, suicidal thoughts and more. Schools that promote and use tiplines have less violence overall. The SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT (SUSO) tipline is run by the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Office of School Safety. Parents and students, this tool is available for anyone to use to help keep the Randall Community safe!
Randall students will engage in learning about how to advocate for their own (and others') safety and well-being over the next month in partnership with our counselor, Mrs. Roth, as well as other members of our student services team. We encourage you to speak with your child about the importance of communicating when/if they feel that their safety may be compromised.

Thank you in advance for all of your support!
