More information will come out next week, but parent-teacher conferences will be 4-8 pm on 11/3, 11/7, and/or 11/10. You will sign up for a conference through your parent portal. The window will not be open until Thursday, October 20th. Please note that there will be one conference per family. If you have a special circumstance, you can reach out to Mr. Balduf. Otherwise, please communicate and plan accordingly within your family dynamic.

We are having a large number of students requesting Chromebook loaners at school because they are not appropriately charging them when they are bringing them home. Please work with your child on having a system for charging their Chromebook at night (and a regular spot). This way, it is always available for them throughout their instructional day.

Speaking of technology, can you please talk to your child to make sure that they have a set of wired headphones at school for K-5? Headphones are necessary when we have some students work with on-line programs with audio. Thank you!

Mrs. Johnson and Mr. Michael are excited to bring back Carpenter’s Maker Club this year. Maker Club is open to 4th and 5th grade Carpenter students, and will meet weekly on Wednesdays from 8-8:45 am, starting on Oct 19, 2022. We understand that this schedule may pose a conflict for some students who participate in other activities on Wednesdays, but that is the only day that our sponsors are available before school.
