Randall Weekly Update - Week 11
Thank you to all of the families who have donated items throughout the duration of our annual Stuff The Bus event. Your generous donations will help alleviate local food insecurity all while teaching our children the importance of gratitude, compassion and community.
On Monday, November 11th, we will be celebrating our veterans at our annual Veterans Day Assembly. We encourage all of our students to wear red, white and blue to show our gratitude for those who have served.
This week, students in grades 5-8 took a Field Trip to see the production of "67 Cinderellas". The feedback from the Theater Director was (verbatim), "the students from Randall were a FANTASTIC audience yesterday at our showing of 67 Cinderellas... I couldn't believe how perfectly they behaved." It is wonderful to know that we represent ourselves, our families and our school so well when out in the community!
Lastly, Current Volunteers:
If you had paid for a Volunteer Background Check in the last 2 years via the previous SafeVisitor/Safe Hiring Solutions application process, please email Mrs. Kerkman or Mrs. Tobin to assist you in confirming your current expiration date.

This week is National School Psychology Week and we would like to recognize the great work of our school psychologist here at Randall, Ms. Brianna Jashinsky. School psychologists play a vital role in supporting students' learning, social emotional well being, and overall success in school. We are grateful Ms. Jashinsky has joined us at Randall this year and appreciate all of her dedication and expertise in helping our students thrive!

Speak Up Speak Out Program for Randall
Randall School is pleased to announce the launch of the SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT confidential tipline as part of our school safety efforts. Tiplines are used to identify threats to schools, and for concerns impacting school age youth such as bullying, drug use, suicidal thoughts and more. Schools that promote and use tiplines have less violence overall. The SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT (SUSO) tipline is run by the Wisconsin Department of Justiceโs Office of School Safety. Parents and students, this tool is available for anyone to use to help keep the Randall Community safe!
Randall students will engage in learning about how to advocate for their own (and others') safety and well-being over the next month in partnership with our counselor, Mrs. Roth, as well as other members of our student services team. We encourage you to speak with your child about the importance of communicating when/if they feel that their safety may be compromised.

Thank you in advance for all of your support!
