As we wrap up the first quarter, I want to take a moment to celebrate the hard work and perseverance our students have shown in their virtual learning journey.
Now is a great time to review your grades, reflect on your goals, and make adjustments for continued success in the second quarter. Please remember that our facilitators are here to support you—whether you need extra help with coursework, clarification on assignments, or encouragement to stay motivated.
Parents and guardians, thank you for partnering with us and providing the structure and encouragement that help our students thrive. Together, we can ensure a strong finish to the semester and continued growth for every learner. Please remember to submit attendance weekly.
Let’s carry the momentum from this first quarter into the next, staying focused, committed, and engaged in the learning process.
Seniors- Over the next few months our school counselor will be reaching out to have a 1:1 conversation with you about your plans after QCVA and any support you may need. Make sure to schedule those quickly as dates and times fill up.
September 11
On September 11, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost and the heroes who showed courage in the face of tragedy. This day reminds us of the strength, unity, and resilience of our nation, and the importance of coming together as a community to support one another.

Improve Your Grade
Kinder to Grade 6: Students may request retakes for Assess-Its, Summary/Reflection, or Quizzes from their facilitator through the SchoolsPLP chat. Students are encouraged to attend tutoring when needed.
Grades 7 to 12: Quizzes and Unit Tests are used throughout the Edgenuity curriculum to assess student learning. Students must score 70% or higher on the assessments to progress in the course. The first and second attempts of a quiz or Unit Test can be taken without the assistance of a facilitator. If a student does not meet the 70% threshold within the first two attempts, they will be required to submit a copy of their lesson notes to their facilitator before receiving a third attempt. Students will need to attend tutoring with their subject area facilitator before receiving a fourth attempt on an assessment.
