YOUR WEEKLY COMMUNICATION ABOUT ALL THINGS MURASKI

Muraski Tribune22-23: Issue 26YOUR WEEKLY COMMUNICATION ABOUT ALL THINGSMURASKI

A Message from the Principals

Good Morning Muraski Families,

We are extremely excited for the next few weeks, where our staff and students will continue to work hard in the classroom as we approach Spring Break. In the month of March, we have focused on Being the Difference in our school. To us, this means committing to being the best person you can be to have the biggest impact on our school. During the month, we have focused on integrity, attitude, and this wee we will move towards effort. The effort which we bring to everything determines how successful we can be. This is an important time of year, where effort on assignments, effort in the classroom, and effort in the day to day is difficult. As Spring approaches, please assist us in continuing to discuss the importance of effort in the classroom. As the effort we give each and every day creates a habit that will assist us in accomplishing great things in our future.

Let's have a great week & Go Mustangs!

Strongsville Women’s League Art Contest for K-5th Grade Students

ATTN: K-5th Grade Students - Have you ever dreamed of what Strongsville could look like in the future? We would like you to share your vision in a drawing. Dream about an area in Strongsville and what it will be like in the future. Strongsville Women’s League is holding an art contest for Strongsville residents currently in Kindergarten through Grade 5. It doesn’t matter which school you attend (public, private, or home), you must live in Strongsville and create your image on 8 ½ x 11 inch paper. We are accepting entries beginning March 17 until April 17. Drop your artwork off in your school office drop box labeled Strongsville Women’s League Art entries. There will be first, second, and third place prizes in each group of K-1, grades 2-3, and grades 4-5 students. Artwork will be judged and prizes will be awarded on Friday April 21, 2023. Parents of the winners will be contacted by email the week of April 17. Good luck and have fun! Please contact Karen Burgund (kmbrona@aol.com) or Mindy Shirilla (mindyshirilla@sbcglobal.net) with any questions.

Impact of Unpaid School Fees

As a reminder, all school fees that have not been paid are now considered past due. To check the balance and pay outstanding school fees, go to Pay Schools Central by clicking HERE. In addition to Pay Schools Central, school fees can be paid by cash/check to your student’s building secretary or with the Treasurer's Office. If you have questions related to this, please contact the building secretary or Dawn Evangelista (devangelista@scsmustangs.org) within the Treasurer's Department. As we are approaching a new school year, as well as the start of fall sports, per Board of Education policy, the consequences for outstanding prior year school fees will prohibit students from participating in any school extracurricular activities (i.e., athletics, student council, school clubs, etc.), field trips, and school sanctioned dances / events that require a purchased ticket.
