Current 0-2 families:
Registration packets are coming. Packets will be distributed by your classroom teacher in the next two weeks. Please note: current residency must be submitted to secure your spot. If you have updated immunizations, please submit the GA 3231 form with your packet.

Current Pre-K/Rising Kindergarten families:
Your Pre-K student will be automatically enrolled in your neighborhood school for Kindergarten. There is nothing families need to do at this time. We encourage you to reach out to your home school if you will need aftercare services for your student to find out about the enrollment process.
Prospective Pre-K families (new to College Heights or new to CSD):
Families, you are our best ambassadors for our school. Do you know of friends or neighbors with a rising Pre-K student? We would love to get to know them! Please let them know that registration begins Monday, February 2 and lasts through Friday, February 27. Click here for more information on the timeline and procedure for Pre-K registration.

Library News
Pre-K did not meet this week due to the Monday weather day, so we will do our lesson on the Caldecott Medal next week. The Caldecott Medal is given to outstanding American picture books that feature exceptional illustrations. This year's Caldecott winners were announced Monday morning as part of the American Library Association (ALA) Youth Media Awards.
College Heights has many Caldecott Medal and Honor books in our library. Click here for a complete list of all Caldecott winners through 2025 (credit: The Public Library of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County).
We will begin our celebration of Black History Month on Monday, February 2. Books will be on display early next week. Come by and check some out to share with your family, or email me and I'll be happy to put together a selection for you and send it home through your child's backpack.
One-, two-, and three-year-old classes enjoyed several books on Tuesday. See the list below:
This week's books:
Roto and Roy to the Rescue! by Sherri Duskey Rinker, illustrated by Don Tate
