Mesquite ISD provides employer paid coverage on the Low Plan for all eligible employees.
Extra financial support when you're admitted to the hospital.
The benefit is paid directly to you and can be used however you choose.
Hospital Indemnity Insurance provides a cash benefit when you experience a
covered hospital stay or other eligible hospital-related services.
Benefits can help offset expenses that may come with a hospital admission,
such as deductibles, copays, transportation, childcare, or other everyday expenses.
The employer paid coverage on the Low Plan provides a
$500 admission benefit for all eligible employees.
Employees have the option to “Buy up” to the High Plan for richer admission benefit of $2,000.
In addition to that, enrolled employees also have a $50 Wellness benefit
(pays once per plan year for covered preventive tests).
The wellness benefit is not available on the district paid option.
