Principal Prather's Post
We hope this message finds you well! As we continue to journey through the school year together, we want to take a moment to share important updates, celebrate our students' achievements, and express our gratitude for your ongoing support.
Important Announcements
Half Day of School: Please remember that this Friday will be a half day for students.
Parent Teacher Conferences: We are preparing for Parent Teacher Conferences scheduled for next week. Look out for your Fall Conference Confirmation Slips coming home in the next couple of days. It is our goal to speak with 100% of our families about their child's progress.
Building Entry Procedures:
- Our office staff will ask a few questions before permitting entry into the building. You will need to provide your first and last name, your child's first and last name, and the purpose for your visit.
- Our secretaries will check the system to ensure you are authorized to visit or pick up the requested student(s). This is to ensure the safety of all.
- Please be mindful of this procedure and allow yourself a few extra minutes for entry. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Celebrations from the Week
This week, our students have been actively engaged in their classrooms, utilizing the gradual release of responsibility model during instruction time. Our teachers are fostering a dynamic learning environment through active engagement strategies, encouraging students to explore, ask questions, and take ownership of their learning. We are thrilled to witness their growth and enthusiasm!
We are grateful for your continued partnership and support in fostering a positive learning environment for our children. Thank you for being an essential part of our school community!
As we move forward, we look forward to collaborating with you and celebrating the successes of our students together.
Trunk or Treat Happening This Week
Attendance Matters
Timeliness and consistency in attendance are crucial for our students' success. When students miss school, they miss out on valuable learning experiences. We have been reaching out to families with 3, 5, or 10 days of unexcused absences to offer support. Please let us know how we can assist you in ensuring your child is present and ready to learn each day.
