ORES Newsletter
October 27, 2022
Dear Oak Ridge Families,
This week, students celebrated the end of 1st quarter with our costume parade and class pictures with Boomer Bluejay! We had an excellent turn out at parent teacher conferences. Thank you for working with us to support our kids. Click the 1st Quarter Celebration link below to access the picture library of the day's events.
Monday is a hat and jean day to raise money for back to school supplies.
Additional Reminders:
Parents, please call the office before 2:30PM to change a students dismissal process or send a note signed by the parent to school. Teachers will not make changes based on a student's word. We must have a phone call or letter from the parent.
School begins at 8:00AM. Students dropped off right at 8:00AM that are needing to eat breakfast are missing out on morning work time. If your student needs to eat breakfast, please plan to drop them off at 7:40AM so they have time to eat without being late for class.
I have included a list of opportunities for community involvement with ORES. Let me know if you are interested in participating with any of these events or if you have ideas for community involvement at ORES.
Please feel free to reach out if you have questions, need help with school supplies, or need resources to help students be successful at school.
Enjoy the weekend with your family!
Sincerely,
Sonia Wood
