    🌟 Ready, Set, Routine!

    • Kids thrive on routines. Knowing what to expect throughout the day helps children feel safe, confident, and prepared.
    • Routines make life easier for adults, too! When kids know what they should be doing next, there are fewer reminders, arguments, and rushed mornings.
    • Keep it simple. You don’t need every minute planned. Focus on a consistent morning routine, after-school routine, and bedtime routine.
    • Consistency is key. Try to keep things like wake-up time, meals, homework, and bedtime around the same time each day—even when life gets busy.
    • Let kids take responsibility. As they get older, give them jobs within the routine—packing their backpack, laying out clothes, filling their water bottle, or getting themselves ready.
    • Prepare ahead. Doing little things the night before can make mornings much smoother for the whole family.
    • Make sleep a priority. A consistent bedtime and enough sleep can make a huge difference in a child’s mood, behavior, and ability to learn at school.
    • Remember: routines don't have to be perfect! Find what works for your family. The goal is simply to create predictability and make the day a little easier for everyone. ❤️
