Ready to Roll into the Future!

Junior and Senior students had the opportunity to visit the Lake Area Technical College Career and College Fair last Thursday. While there, students had the opportunity to chat with businesses about what their fields entail, visit with over 20 colleges, and also take a trip to the South Dakota National Guard Readiness Center to explore military options.

Students took advantage of the day and came away with lots of great information and hands-on experiences while learning about different options for after high school graduation.

Engaged in Language Learning Engaged in Language Learning

Students in Mrs. Nordquist's classes have been busy learning about the Spanish langauge and the people who speak it. Spanish I classes have marked Hispanic Heritage Month by researching and presenting about famous Hispanic Americans and their contributions to culture and society.

Bringing enjoyment to language learning through games is one of the goals of Spanish class. Spanish II students used lots of language skills (and laughs) recently to play games like Headbandz and What Do You Meme?
