It is the time of year when we begin thinking about next year’s classroom placement. A number of variables are taken into consideration in order to create a balanced classroom that will meet student needs. If you feel there are any unique factors the school may not know about your student, please complete and return this form in a sealed envelope to the office by Friday, April 4, 2025. We ask that you do not list individual teacher names, as we are unable to honor specific teacher requests. Age
Under 5 years: 157 (33%)
5-19 years: 204 (42%)
20+ years: 111 (23%)
Age unknown: 11 (2%)
Vaccination Status
Unvaccinated or Unknown: 97%
One MMR dose: 1%
Two MMR doses: 2%
The measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine is very safe and effective. When more than 95% of people in a community are vaccinated (coverage >95%), most people are protected through community immunity (herd immunity). However, vaccination coverage among U.S. kindergartners has decreased from 95.2% during the 2019–2020 school year to 92.7% in the 2023–2024 school year, leaving approximately 280,000 kindergartners at risk[.]
