What's gone down & what's coming up at the leopards' lair.

Hello Lutherville Families,

We had an action-packed week at Lutherville Lab!

Congratulations to our 3rd graders who worked so very hard on MCAP testing all week long. Congratulations also to all runners in our Leopard Run on Thursday. It was wonderful to see so many Leopards showing perseverance and determination during the run. We were also so glad to greet many families for Math Night on Thursday and appreciate all those who made it out ot Felipe's Taqueria!

On Wednesday, the team from the Williams company spent the day volunteering in our learning garden. They did some incredible work and with the help of our young gardeners in Garden Club as well, the space is looking absolutely fantastic! To cap off the week, it was great to see so many children rocking college gear or dressed for a future career. Enjoy the picture of some future doctors and veterinarians below.

A reminder that tomorrow is the Spring Clean-up! If you are available from 10-12, please add yourself to the Sign-Up Genius.

Tuesday of next week there is no school for students and it is our second and last Kindergarten Round-Up for the 2022-2023 school year! Information is in the attached flyer -- please spread the word and encourage anyone you know who has a child who will be 5-years-old by September 1st, 2022 to please call the office to sign-up!

Friday of next week is another community event from the PTA -- Pizza Bingo! I fondly remember the wonderful Build-A-Leopard event in the fall, and my family looks forward to joining yours for some pizza, bingo, joy and community on Friday.

Finally, all of next week is Looking forward, next week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Please read below for some lovely ways to celebrate the incredible teaching staff we have here at Lutherville Lab!

Teacher Appreciation Week!

We hope you will please help the PTA continue to recognize the hard work of the teachers and staff at LL! Here are 3 specific opportunities:

1) For students: fill-in the-blank letters to give to teachers and staff

- Have your child (or help your child) complete the letters that came home in their green folder.

- Extras copies can be found here or ask your child’s teacher to send home more.

- The student can deliver directly to the recipient or you may submit in an envelope marked “PTA”.

2) For families: digital words, pics and videos of appreciation due no later than Wed 5/4

-No log in necessary! Quick, easy, creative and thoughtful!

-By posting to the Padlet site you agree to and understand that submissions will be shared with all of the LL community.

Pizza Bingo - this Friday! (May 6th)

You may also bring your own picnic dinner!

- Pizzas, to be ordered by the PTA from Olympia Pizzeria, are $12 for a medium cheese and $13 for a medium pepperoni. Order deadline is extended to Monday - see attachment.

- Cash or check payments will be accepted. The order form is at the bottom of this report.

- Bingo is FREE and there will be prizes!
