Principal's Message
Dear Mustang Families,
We are officially in the heart of the school year, and it’s amazing to think about how much our students have grown since August. The routines are strong, expectations are familiar, and students are becoming more independent and confident in their learning. This is the time of year when we often see real progress take shape.
March is a wonderful opportunity to lean into curiosity. Across grade levels, students are exploring new concepts, asking thoughtful questions, and stretching their thinking. You can support this at home by asking your child what challenged them this week or what they’re proud of accomplishing. Celebrating effort, not just outcomes, helps build resilience and confidence.
We also continue to prioritize making Maple a place where every child feels included and supported. When students feel safe and valued, they are more willing to take risks, try again, and grow. Thank you for reinforcing those same messages at home.
As always, we appreciate your partnership and the many ways you support learning, attendance, and positive habits each day. Together, we are helping our Mustangs build skills that will carry them far beyond this school year.
With Mustang Pride,
Meghann O’Weger
Principal, Maple Elementary

Donation Matching
Does Your Company Match Donations?
Double the impact of your gift to Maple PFA!
Many companies offer matching gift programs, where they will match your donation dollar-for-dollar, turning your $50 into $100 for Maple students
How it works:
1. Donate to Maple PFA (membership, or general donation)
2. Submit a match request through your employer’s HR portal
3. Your company sends an additional donation — at no cost to you!
Local companies that offer matching gifts include:
• Amgen
• Bank of America
• Disney
• Kaiser Permanente
• Qualcomm
• Target
• Wells Fargo
(and many more — check with your HR department!)
