"Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.” – Robert Collier
Dear Brunswick Middle School Students, Parents, and Guardians,
What a great week at Brunswick Middle School! This has been our best week since the school year began in regard to students respecting our school restrooms. Thank you to our students for making better choices and to our parents and guardians for reinforcing the importance of responsibility and respect. We appreciate everyone's continued partnership in keeping our school clean, safe, and welcoming for all.
We have officially started the second quarter of the school year! The beginning of a new quarter provides a great opportunity for students to reflect on their progress, celebrate their accomplishments, and set goals for continued growth. Whether students are working to improve their grades, develop stronger study habits, participate more actively in class, or become more organized, small, consistent efforts can lead to meaningful success.
Report cards are now available to view! I want to congratulate our students on their hard work and accomplishments throughout the first quarter. We are proud of their efforts and encourage them to celebrate their successes while continuing to look for opportunities to grow. For students who may not have met their goals, remember that a new quarter is a fresh start and an opportunity to make positive changes. Parents and guardians, please take some time to review your child's report card with them, recognize their accomplishments, and discuss goals for the second quarter.
I also want to remind everyone that this Monday is Family First Night! This is a great opportunity to slow down, step away from the busy routines of everyday life, and spend quality time with family and friends. Take a break from the usual responsibilities when possible and enjoy being together. Sometimes, the most important moments come from simply sharing a meal, having a conversation, or making memories with the people who matter most. I encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to reconnect and enjoy the evening.
As we move forward, I encourage parents and guardians to continue checking in with your students about their learning, celebrating their successes, and helping them identify areas where they can improve. Our teachers and staff remain committed to providing students with the support, encouragement, and challenges they need to reach their full potential.
I am incredibly grateful for our teachers and staff, who work hard every day to create meaningful learning experiences and build positive relationships with students. I also appreciate our families for the continued communication, encouragement, and partnership you provide. When we work together, we create the strongest possible foundation for student success.
Let's carry the positive momentum from this past week into the second quarter. Let's continue to make good choices, support one another, take pride in our school, and strive to improve a little each day. Success is built through consistent effort, positive attitudes, and a willingness to keep growing.
Have a wonderful weekend, enjoy Family First Night on Monday, and Go Blue Devils!

Stay in the Game - Attendance Tips for Families
Our students had a wonderful experience at camp! It was rewarding to see them step outside their comfort zones, build friendships, work together, and create lasting memories. Experiences like these provide valuable opportunities for students to grow, develop independence, and learn in ways that extend beyond the classroom. We are grateful to everyone who helped make camp such a success and are excited that our students had this opportunity.

Information From Past Newsletters
We would like to remind all families who utilize student pick-up and drop-off to please follow our established procedures. These guidelines are designed to keep our students and staff safe while helping traffic move smoothly and efficiently.
Students should not cross into the parking lot or be picked up or dropped off in parking spaces unless prior arrangements have been made with the school. Using designated areas helps reduce safety concerns and keeps the flow of traffic moving.
We also ask that students remain attentive and ready as vehicles arrive so they can enter or exit vehicles promptly. Parents and guardians should pull forward as far as possible in the designated pick-up and drop-off lane before loading or unloading students. Filling the lane from front to back allows us to safely accommodate more vehicles and significantly reduces congestion.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us make arrival and dismissal safe and efficient for everyone!
