Happy Holidays & Enjoy Winter Break!

As we head into a much needed December break, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the support you, as families, provide your student and our school community. I am proud to serve as your principal and am excited for all that 2023 has to offer. I am wishing everyone a great holiday season and happy new year! See you all in 2023! School resumes on January 3rd.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK

On Monday, December 19th, students from Watertown High School attended a performance of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" at the Mosesian Center for the Arts. The one actor performance highlighted the immense talent of Dick Terhune and his ability to bring 30 characters to life. This event was made possible through funding from the Mosesian Center and other Watertown Cultural Organizations.

Wish we could see the other point of view of this selfie!

ELPAC Survey

ELPAC is the English Learner Parent Advisory Council. If your student is currently in the ESL program or used to be in the ESL program we'd love to get your ideas! The program previously met on Friday (11/8) and the group had questions about school food and nutrition. Please complete the survey here so we can decide on a regular meeting day. We will ask the Director of School Nutrition, Brandon Rabbitt, to come to our next meeting.

5 Essentials Survey

The University of Chicago has released their 5 Essentials Survey for students, parents, caregivers, and teachers to complete. Here is the newsletter our Superintendent Dr. Galdston sent out and here is the direct link to the both student and parent surveys. The 5 E's survey is a great way for the school to partner with families. Please do your best to carve out a few minutes to fill it out. We are in need of 50% of our families to fill the survey out and at the time of this s'more are short of our goal. Please do your best to fill it out. Thanks!
