A Message From Dr. Euker

As we turn the calendar to March, there is a renewed sense of energy in our halls. The days are growing longer, spring is just around the corner, and our Methacton Warriors are stepping into one of the busiest and most exciting seasons of the school year.

Spring brings a full calendar of activities and athletics—practices, competitions, performances, club events, and opportunities for students to shine in new ways. Whether your child is competing on the field, performing on stage, leading in a club, or cheering on classmates from the stands, this season offers countless moments for growth, teamwork, and school pride. We are WARRIORS!

These experiences extend learning beyond the classroom. Students develop resilience, time management, leadership, and a deep sense of belonging. They learn how to support one another, how to handle both victory and disappointment, and how to commit themselves to something bigger than themselves. Warriors make the best teammates!

Thank you for your continued support of our school community. We are looking forward to a vibrant and successful spring season and to celebrating the Methacton Warriors in every way.

IMPORTANT: Attendance Reporting Procedures Changing March 2

Beginning this Monday, March 2, 2026, Methacton School District will implement new attendance reporting procedures that will change how families report student absences. Effective March 2:

  • Families cannot report an absence, late arrival, or early departure via email.

  • Absences, late arrivals, or early dismissals must be reported one of two ways:

    • Using the new attendance reporting feature in the PowerSchool Parent Portal, which will be available starting March 2. This fulfills the written note requirement and provides direct notification to the school. Click here for step-by-step instructions.

    • Calling the school 610-831-5329

    • Absences reported by phone will be marked unexcused unless a signed physical note is submitted to the school’s main office within three days.

It is important that you review the full details of our updated attendance reporting procedures to ensure you understand the changes. Visit www.methacton.org/attendance for complete information and guidance.
