Early Release Wednesdays: 7:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.

Breakfast begins 7:30 a.m.

Attendance is so important in elementary school as children are building the foundation for all future learning. At Foster, we are tracking each student's attendance carefully to ensure they are not missing critical skill-building time. Families can expect a call from the school when students start missing too much school so we can help encourage your student to show up and to help families remove barriers to their child's regular attendance. Additionally, we will be reinforcing regular attendance with monthly incentives such as class parties, prizes, and extra recess, to name a few. Here's our attendance data for the first two weeks of school (9/8-9/18).

Fall picture day is scheduled for Tuesday, September 22. Be sure your student is on time to school so we don't miss their photo!

We love having families and community members involved at Foster! Whether you’re helping in a classroom, attending a field trip, supporting a special event, or volunteering in another capacity, all volunteers must have a current, approved volunteer application on file each school year.

Volunteer applications are available through the school office. At this busy time of year, please allow 1–2 weeks for processing and approval.

Please plan ahead! Without an approved application, you will not be able to volunteer at school events, field trips, or other activities. Volunteer applications are located in the school office.
