Dear West Belmar Families,

We are excited to kick off Read Across America Week from March 3rd - March 7th! This week will be filled with fun, creativity, and a celebration of one of America’s greatest children’s authors, Dr. Seuss. Each day has a special theme, and we can’t wait to see the students join in the fun!

Here are the theme days for the week:

• Monday, March 3rd – Crazy Hair Day: Let your hair go wild to start the week off with a bang!
• Tuesday, March 4th – The Cat in the Hat Hat Day: Wear your favorite hat to honor this classic Dr. Seuss character.
• Wednesday, March 5th – Wacky Wednesday – Mismatch Day: Wear mismatched clothes for a wacky and fun look!
• Thursday, March 6th – Fox in Socks Day – Crazy Socks Day: Show off your most fun and funky socks!
• Friday, March 7th – Pajama Day – The Sleep Book: Students can wear their pajamas to school, but please remember to choose comfortable, school-appropriate pajamas that will allow students to move safely throughout the building.

We’re looking forward to a week of celebration, creativity, and of course, reading!

In addition, we want to remind you that the PTA’s Annual Gift Auction will take place on Friday, March 14th at the Spring Lake Manor. It’s always a fun event and a great way to support our school community. We hope to see you there!

Thank you for supporting Read Across America Week and Dr. Seuss's timeless impact on children’s literature.
