Here we go! It took me awhile to get all the events for this week onto the calendar. Add to all that the beginning of state assessments and you've got yourself a busy week. Eighth graders, you get things started Thursday and Friday. Remember, get that rest you need each night and come in ready to do your best on whichever test you will be taking. If we can collectively do better again this year just like we did last, then your principal will be busy grilling again. And I'd love nothing more than to do that for you all!

Marysville has been nominated in the USA Today's 2024 10 Best Readers' Choice travel awards! We are a contender for Best Small Town in the Midwest. We have until April 1 to vote for MARYSVILLE at https://www.10best.com/awards/travel/best-small-town-in-the-midwest-2024/. A person can vote once a day for the run of the contest. So click on the link or click on the picture and vote once a day for your hometown!

Mr. Koch has informed me that only 3 acts have signed up for the talent show so far. In order to make the show a reality , we need another 6 or 7 to sign up. Don't be shy! Show your classmates what talent looks like. Take a look at the graphic above. It can be anything that you want to show off to our school.

Dahlia represents the best of Marysville with her hard work in the classroom and being involved inside and outside of the classroom.

Emily put some time in outside of class to complete assignments, showing both discipline, hard work, and attention to her academics.

Seniors: Please continue completing scholarship applications, they can be found on our website. Most are due on April 2nd. Please see each scholarship for details.

Freshmen: You will be attending K-State and Manhattan Tech on March 20th. We will leave at 8:30 and return at 3:30. Students will need to let the school know if they will bring their own sack lunch or will be needing the school to provide one. Please don't forget!

Seniors-Sophomores: A college representative will be talking to all 10th-12th grade students about the Kansas Promise Scholarship on March 26th from 2:30-3:30 in the auditorium. Parents are welcome to join this presentation. Please come in through the auditorium doors to hear about this great opportunity for our students.
