Media Weekly

• Checkouts: Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday from 8:45 - 3:00; K-3 weekly, grades 4 & 5 bi-weekly
• Complete Google Form with your checkout time request ASAP. We will finalize by Monday 8/19.
• Checkout will be a 30 minute block. Each class will hear a story, book talk, or quick lesson to start your time with us.
• Checkouts begin Monday, August 26.
• Please send books by 8:45 on your checkout day. We will hold & renew books for students. You will get renewal slips.
• Open library checkout - 8:00-8:20 before the school day and during clerk hours M, T & Th 8:45-3:00. Students can come Wednesday and Friday, but the library may be unstaffed.

Student Passwords

Username = CPS login ID

Password = 24+id+student ID

Example:

Grades 4 & 5 will change PWs by 9/20 in Media... you’ll get a list of those new passwords.

Turn in both laptop and iPad with chargers

Back up any files before turning in.

Sign out of Apple ID on iPad and erase the iPad.

• First week of school - August 20 - 23
• Sign up for a time using Bookings page
• Come to the Media Center to get your devices (grades 1-5)
• Setting up your students’ iPads - directions will be provided
• Would you like help with set up? Book us through Bookings

• Standards for iPads to consider - Selfie as wallpaper / lock screen, try to use Apple Classroom!, teacher permission for downloading apps
• Labels - please use just painter's tape or something that won't leave a residue
• Keyboards - grades 2-5

• Organized by level, then Fiction / Non-Fiction

• Lit Set / Guided Reading books from the Book Room need to be checked out in Destiny before using in the classroom.

• Please take the whole bag when checking out.

• Turn in complete sets to the Media Center… we’ll check them in and put them away for you.

We will be putting 2 library passes in classroom teachers' mailboxes. These can be used for independent visits to the library. Feel free to use these or others you already have. If you are not a classroom teacher but would like library passes for your classroom, please let Erika know.
