FAMILY NIGHT @ K-8 Connect

We will be hosting a Family Night at K-8 Connect Wednesday, April 16th from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Please see the flyer below for details. We hope you can join us!

End of Year Transition Plans

As we approach the end of the year, we will begin contacting parents about the end of the year student transitions and your child's individual plan for the 2025-2026 school year.

8th Grade Student Success Plans (SSP's)

Mrs. Joleen Nutter (K-8 School Counselor) will complete individual Student Success Plans (SSP's) with our current 8th graders. Starting in 8th grade, students are required by the state of Arkansas to have a SSP. Parents/Guardians will be contacted for input in their student's SSP. Guardian signatures on the SSP's are will be obtained.

💡 Reminders

Attendance Policy

It is vital that students attend school. According to the Springdale School District Attendance Policy, "Seven (7) absences per semester will be considered excessive in elementary and middle schools. It is at this point that school officials may notify authorities as determined by the principal." Excused absences are not counted towards the seven absences such as medical appointments, legal appointments, or suspensions. Parents/Guardians: Please remember to always provide a copy of a doctor's notes when your student attends a medical appointment during the school day. Kindergarten Graduations

If you have a kindergarten student at K-8 Connect, please reach out to your student's homeschool about graduation details.

Weekly Newsletter and Point Sheets

Each week your student will bring home a newsletter. The newsletter contains information about our program and the academic and behavior focus for the week.

Your student will bring home a daily point sheet. Please sign your child's point sheet each day.
