🎨 Seventh Grade Art: Meaningful Memories in Clay
Our seventh-grade art students have been hard at work creating ceramic slab boxes—each one uniquely personal and full of meaning. The handles on their boxes are sculpted objects that represent special memories, traditions, or activities shared with important people in their lives.
In the coming weeks, students will add colorful glaze and finishing details before sharing the stories behind their creations with the individuals who inspired them.
Featured artwork includes:
-
A whale by Yoselin Peralta Trujillo
-
A dachshund puppy by Margarita Volosanova
-
An airplane by Adam Benali
These projects beautifully blend creativity, craftsmanship, and heartfelt storytelling—wonderful work, artists!

🎉 First Marking Period Awards Celebration
We are excited to celebrate our students’ accomplishments during the First Marking Period Awards Ceremony on Monday, November 24, 2025!
-
8th Grade Ceremony: 8:30–9:10 AM
-
7th Grade Ceremony: 9:25–10:05 AM
Families of students receiving awards will be notified by Tuesday, November 18, and are warmly invited to attend. Please do not arrive prior to 8:15 AM, as we will be focused on safely welcoming students into the building at the start of the day.
Since school will be in session, all guests must sign in with the Attendance Secretary using a photo ID (driver’s license) to receive a visitor pass before entering the building. To help avoid long lines the morning of the event, guests may pre-check in on Thursday (11/20) or Friday (11/21) during normal school hours. We will print and hold your visitor pass for pickup on the day of the ceremony. For those unable to attend in person, we will livestream the event so all families can share in the celebration.
Thank you for your continued support — we look forward to recognizing our amazing students and their hard work!
1st Annual Turkey Bowl!
We’re excited to announce our First Annual Strayer PBIS Turkey Bowl on Tuesday, November 25th! This special event is all about celebrating positive behavior and showing our Strayer Stronger spirit through a day of fun, teamwork, and community pride.
The day will kick off with a school-wide pep rally, featuring performances by our Strayer Select Choir, the Quakertown High School Band and Cheerleaders, and a special “Teachers’ Training Camp” skit that’s sure to be a hit!
The pep rally will set the tone for an exciting afternoon as our students and staff face off in the Turkey Bowl game (flag football) —a tradition we hope to continue for years to come!
We can’t wait to celebrate our students’ positive choices and school spirit together!

Thank you for helping us support families in our community!
Family Feedback Opportunity: MTSS Survey
As part of our ongoing work to strengthen family engagement, the QCSD MTSS District Team has created a short Parent/Guardian Survey to gather input on how families experience communication, support, and connection within our schools. The survey is anonymous and focuses on improving our systems—not individual classrooms or teachers.
Families can complete the survey by visiting https://tinyurl.com/QCSDinput. Your feedback will help us reflect and grow at both the district and building levels as we continue to enhance the Strayer experience for all families.
Thank you for sharing your voice and partnering with us in this important work!
