Important Reminders for Parents and Students

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We want to share a few important reminders to help keep our school safe, focused, and ready for learning.

Dress Code: Blankets, slippers, stuffed animals (stuffies), costume ears, tails, and flags are not permitted at school, as they can create distractions and/or safety concerns.

Cell Phones & AirPods: Cell phones and AirPods must remain off and in students' backpacks throughout the school day. We have noticed an increase in students using these items in the building.

NeeDohs: NeeDoh sensory toys must be no larger than a cell phone. We are also seeing students break them open and spread the contents on others. Please remind your student to use these items appropriately.

Thank you for your partnership in keeping our school a safe and productive learning environment!

Introducing... RESTAURANT NIGHTS!

Some Cresthill parents are partnering with local restaurants to make fundraising fun and delicious!

When you dine at participating restaurants during our designated Restaurant Nights, a percentage of sales will come back to Cresthill Middle School. These funds will help support important school projects, including cubbies, outdoor learning improvements, and beautifying our amazing school. It’s an easy and enjoyable way to support our school community while enjoying some of your favorite local spots. Thank you for participating!

Our First Restaurant Night: Chipotle!

Mark your calendars for Monday, November 2, from 4–8 PM! Join us at Chipotle for our first Cresthill Restaurant Night. When you dine in or order carryout during the event, 25% of event sales will be donated back to Cresthill Middle School!

Be sure to mention Cresthill Middle School when ordering or use code CW9A2KL at checkout. Grab dinner, skip the cooking, and help support our amazing school! Every order makes a difference. Thank you for your support!

Free college Funding Webinar

Before anything else, a quick thank you. Trey Buckland, a financial advisor with Edward Jones, is the sponsor of the Pro Athlete Advantage mental toughness program at Highlands Ranch High School. His support is what allows us to run this program for our football, boys/girls volleyball, Cheer and Dance athletes, and we're grateful for it.

Now he's doing something else for our HRHS and Feeder families.

If you have a student heading to college in the next few years, you've probably already had the “how are we going to pay for this” conversation at your kitchen table. For most families it's the biggest expense they'll ever plan for, and nobody hands you a playbook. Trey is hosting a free 30-minute webinar with Nuveen & Scholar's Choice for current and future Highlands Ranch parents on college funding. He'll walk through:

• Expected costs for college and ways to save

• Qualified expenses and how to use your savings

• How financial aid (FAFSA form) and scholarships fit into the picture

• Mistakes families often make along the way

• Your questions at the end

When: 11/4/26 at 12:00pm

Where: Online ( Link: https://edwardjones.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_Vg5nl0iOSxOspKkfAZO7OA)

How long: 30 minutes
