Shady Shores Elementary School

February 7, 2025

From Mrs. Bryant

We celebrated 100 days of learning last week! It has been such an honor to watch our students make progress and grow this school year! Thank you to all of our special guests and families for joining us in the celebrations.

Make sure to check out the upcoming dates down below, as there are many amazing events coming up. We love all of these opportunities to connect with families and show off the hard work our students put in every day. We also know that Valentine's Day is just around the corner, so be on the lookout for class party times in teacher's newsletters.

We have just a few copies of the yearbook left for purchase. If you have not purchased one yet, please do so by February 14th. They can be purchased in the front office or from www.balfour.com.

Our Spring Picture Day is on February 27. This will be the group class picture and an individual spring picture will also be taken. See below for ordering information.

As a Leader in Me campus, SSE is committed to service learning. Our student lighthouse team is leading the way in service and heading up a cereal drive to benefit a local food pantry. Bring in or donate a regular or family-sized box of cereal to help them reach their goal.
