Monarch Messenger

FROM DOAN'S DESK....
In the crunch of starting the school year under construction, and then doing all of the work to pull of Monarch Mayhem, I really haven’t had the chance to pause and communicate some really good news about school performance.
Our 2025 AP Exam Pass Rate (3 or Higher) exceeded 88% for all tests given in 2025. 555 students took 994 exams, and the pass rate was a 5-year high for MOHI
On the CDE school performance framework (SAT, PSAT, growth, achievement, grad rates) Monarch had the 4th highest score out of all Colorado High Schools
Based on our October 1st student count, our enrollment is at a three-year high of approximately 1450, and we are one of the only high schools with increased enrollment during a time of steep decline statewide.
We are incredibly proud of the academic achievement of our students and the work of the MoHi teachers and staff. Both the AP scores and CDE metrics are great signs of success by our entire student body.
In the coming weeks, we will be participating in the BVSD “Place to Be” Showcase and our own MHS Open Enrollment Night. We approach these events knowing that we have been able to stabilize our enrollment, and maybe even pull in some more students because of the great things that are happening at Monarch.
Check out this “Extra! Extra!” brag sheet that we hand out the enrollment events. It is as much of the good news we can fit in only a few pages because so many good things are happening.
Have a great weekend-Sko Yotes!
