Pathways Celebration: D303's Student Interns
D303 leadership recognized and celebrated several D303 students who were selected for competitive internships during the summer of 2025.
The students stepped beyond the classroom to apply their learning in real-world settings. They have developed professional skills and gained firsthand industry experience. Their internships reflect the strong partnerships between our schools and employers, and they exemplify the purpose of career-connected learning—preparing students not just for graduation, but for future success.
D303 thanked our partners from Alignment Collaborative and Education for Employment Region 110 who made these opportunities possible. They work directly with area businesses to grow our high school student internship placements. Applications open in March for paid, competitive internships available this summer. The student interns honored are:
- Zainab Girniwala - North High School; medical internship
- Rece Strachan - East High School; engineering internship (mechanical)
- Leo Peters - East High School; diesel internship
- Nour El Houda Belhandouz - North High School; engineering (civil)
