Special Friday Release Dates and Times for the 2024-2025 School Year

National Volunteer Week is next week, April 21-25th and we want to welcome you into our school to support our students! We have volunteers that come each week and month and we appreciate their contributions to our classrooms. Giving up time and supporting our school is appreciated by our entire staff.

If you haven't had a chance to volunteer this year, this is it! Your child's teacher will be sending out opportunities for you to come in to help. Earlier this week I sent out a sign up for our Earth Day painting slots, too. There are many ways to volunteer. If you do connect with your child's teacher, we just ask that you come without siblings. Unfortunately, we aren't able to accommodate siblings in the classroom or when volunteering.

If you're not comfortable volunteering in the classroom, we always need help shelving books in our library or cutting out and prepping materials for our classroom. There is something for everyone!

We always want you to feel welcome in our school, the connection between home and school is a crucial part of your child's success.

Soon, we will begin working on class lists for the 2025-2026 school year. We do our best to ensure that each classroom has positive group dynamics and is well balanced. As we start this process, if you have information you would like us to consider as it pertains to your child’s learning style, please complete the form below by Thursday, April 24th, 2025.

Requests for a specific teacher are not recommended, please provide general information to help us in our placement process (teaching style, special considerations, etc.). Please note that making a request does not guarantee it can be honored.

Throughout the placement process, a great deal of careful thought will be given by our teachers regarding each individual student’s learning strengths and peer relations. We will continue to work hard to create the best learning environment for every child. Your child's teacher will look at friendships to determine which students work well together, so requesting specific friends be placed together isn't a protocol because you can't request placement on behalf of another student.

The forms below will be used for this process, please don't email your child's teacher or administration, we are collaborating on class lists and using the forms below.
