🎮 ANTELOPE ALLSTARS FAMILY UPDATE

GAME ON – Everyone Belongs, Everyone Plays! 💙💛

Allstars, we are off to a great start! One of my favorite parts of the year has been getting to know more and more of our students by name. Thank you for the incredible support you continue to show our school and students!

📚 Books & Breakfast was a wonderful success! Thank you to all of the families who joined us. Our next Books & Breakfast will be November 5, so mark your calendars!

🎃 Fall Festival – October 22 | 5:30–7:00 PM
We are looking forward to an evening filled with games, activities, and family fun! This year, students and families are welcome to wear costumes. Please remember that masks and weapons (including costume weapons) will not be allowed. More information will be coming soon!

Our goal this year is simple:

⭐ Every student should KNOW and FEEL that they BELONG at Antelope Elementary.

We are looking forward to a year filled with learning, growth, connection, and FUN!

Our fabulous PTA is kicking off the Little Caesars Pizza fundraiser! 🍕

📅 Our first fundraiser night will be October 3!

Funds raised through our PTA help provide additional student activities, family events, community nights, and other opportunities for our Allstars. Every time you participate, you are directly supporting our students and school!

⭐ We truly have the BEST PTA!

Thank you to our PTA volunteers and families for everything you do to make Antelope such a special place.

📌 QUICK REMINDERS & IMPORTANT DATES

👕 September 6 – Spirit Wear Deadline
Don't forget to place your Allstar spirit wear order!

📸 September 9 – Picture Day
Each class has an assigned time to have pictures taken. Your student should have brought home an order form with information about the different picture packages available. We can't wait to see all those Allstar smiles! 😁📸

🗳️ September 10 – Community Council Meeting | 4:00 PM
Our first meeting will be held in the conference room. At this time, we do not have enough nominations to require an election.

🤖 September 10 – Robotics Applications | After School
Students interested in joining Robotics should come to the library after school to complete an application. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept every interested student, so completing an application is required to be considered.

👩‍🏫 September 10–17 – Parent-Teacher Conference Sign-Up
Families may select a Parent-Teacher Conference time through myDSD. If you have not selected a time by September 17, a conference time will automatically be assigned to you.

🇺🇸 September 11 – Patriot Day Celebration | 9:15 AM
We are honored to invite our local first responders to Antelope Elementary for a special Patriot Day recognition.

Our students and staff will take a few minutes to celebrate and thank our first responders for their service and dedication to our community. This will be a brief celebration beginning at 9:15 AM, allowing our first responders to quickly return to serving our community.

🚒🚑🚓 We are excited for our Allstars to help us say THANK YOU to our local heroes! 🇺🇸

📣 September 14–17 – Cheer Camp Clinic
Our Cheer Camp Clinic will take place after school September 14–17. Participants will perform at the Clearfield High football game on Friday, September 18. Thank you to everyone who signed up! We can't wait to cheer you on! 💙💛

🥫 September 17 – Community Food Drop | 1:00–2:00 PM
We will have a walk-up food drop at Antelope Elementary. Please remember to bring your own bags.

🚗 Parking Reminder: Please park across the street at the church and walk over to the school. Please do not park in or block the school parking lot. We need to keep the lot accessible for our school day and dismissal. Thank you for helping us keep traffic moving safely!

👩‍🏫 September 23 & 24 – Parent-Teacher Conferences + EARLY OUT
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held by appointment. Both days are early-out days.

💉 September 23 – Boo to the Flu | 3:30–6:30 PM

💻 October 1 – Device Protection Deadline
Device Protection must be purchased through myDSD each school year.

🍕 October 3 – Little Caesars PTA Fundraiser

🎃 October 22 – Fall Festival | 5:30–7:00 PM

🌅 BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM UPDATE

We know many families are waiting for information about our Before & After School Program. At this time, we still do not have a confirmed start date.

We apologize for the delay and truly appreciate your patience. We want to make sure we have everything in place and ready to go before the program begins.

📣 Please continue to watch for updates. We will share additional information and a start date with families as soon as we receive it.

🥔 BUILD YOUR ALLSTAR – ATTENDANCE CHALLENGE!

We are having so much FUN earning pieces for our Allstar Potato Heads!

Help your student's class by making sure your child is at school and on time each day.

⭐ Every class that has 100% attendance by 9:00 AM earns a piece for its Allstar Potato Head!

We can't wait to see which class will be the FIRST to complete its Allstar! 🎉

Each time a class completes its Potato Head, the class earns an entry into our end-of-term drawing.

At the end of the term, one class will be selected for a special:

🥔🎉 “Chips, Hooray!” Celebration!
