Principal's Message
Good evening Borchardt Families,
This week, Color Run fundraiser packets will be coming home, be sure to check them out for important information on how to participate! Last week, we also sent home our April schoolwide calendar with important upcoming events. Please be sure to check your child’s backpack regularly so you don’t miss any updates.
Additionally, we’ve noticed an uptick in misbehavior in the bathrooms. Please take a moment to remind your child about the importance of following school rules and expectations while on campus.
Have a wonderful week, Borchardt Bears! 🐻
Warmly,
Bri Carroll
Principal, Borchardt Elementary
Bell Schedule
Minimum Day this Wednesday
Families, just a friendly reminder that this Wednesday is a minimum day. Please make arrangements ahead of time to ensure a smooth dismissal. Thank you!
Parking Lot Safety Reminders
We’ve had several incidents recently in our parking lot, and we want to take a moment to remind everyone of the importance of following our safety procedures. It is imperative for the safety of all of our Borchardt family—students, staff, and families alike—that we follow the rules and measures we have in place.
Front Parking Lot:
- Make a right turn immediately upon entry
- Students are ONLY to enter/exit vehicles along the curb next to the school
- Students may enter/exit at any point along the curb, as long as you pull forward as far as possible behind the car in front of you
- Right turn only when exiting the parking lot
Bus Loop:
- Parents should never park or drop off students in the bus loop
- All Borchardt Bears should use the crosswalks rather than walking through the bus loop
Thank you for doing your part to help keep all of our Borchardt Bears safe! 🐻
Family Math Night this Thursday!

There will be something for everyone—no matter your age or skill level!
Food trucks will also be on site, so come hungry and ready to have a great time. We hope to see you there!
Color Run- Save the Date!
We’re excited to bring back our Color Run for the second year on Friday, May 1! This fun and energetic event was a huge hit last year, and we can’t wait to do it again. In the weeks leading up to the run, students will have the opportunity to raise funds to support our current and future 6th graders attending Science Camp—all while building excitement for the big day.
We also welcome family volunteers to help make this event a success. If you’re interested in volunteering, please be sure you are fingerprinted through the district in advance.
More details will be coming soon—we’re looking forward to another amazing Color Run!
