May Message
Selma Families,
Thank you to our PTO for helping us make Teacher Appreciation great, they supported us by flipping pancakes and we were so grateful for the help. They also hosted our first spirit night at Hat Creek that was a super success. We look forward to more great opportunities!
In the coming weeks, we look forward to celebrating our students during our end‑of‑year ceremonies and events. Please watch for details from your child’s teacher and the newsletter.
As we close out the school year, thank you for your continued support and partnership. Our students have grown so much this year, and we are proud of their hard work and accomplishments. Please help us finish strong by ensuring students attend daily and stay engaged through the final weeks.
Warm regards,
Dr. Melissa Martinez

Arrival & Dismissal Traffic Reminders
Selma families please be sure that we are following our traffic plan for arrival and dismissal.
- Please do not drop off students in the bus lane and staff parking,
- At arrival please do not park in the car line and walk up to the door, we need to keep the car rider line moving, if your students need help, our staff will help them out of the car
- At dismissal it is important to have your car tag to ensure the safety of our students. The safety of all is important to us so we also ask you not to exit your vehicle while actively in the dismissal lane.
- All walkers should walk home safely along the sidewalk, it is not a car rider pick up location.
- We do not allow early dismissal after 2:30 and walk ups during the time of dismissal.
Please be sure you have your blue card on the dash of your vehicle, if you do not have it, we will ask you to park and come inside to school to receive a new card with your identification.
