PHEAA and FAFSA PHEAA and FAFSA

Pick Me!

Back in the fall, you did everything you could in the admission process except stand up and scream "Pick Me!!!" (some of you might have done that too!)

Now that you have applied to college and been accepted, you are in the driver's seat. Colleges have sent you beautiful admission letters and are pressuring you to pick them! The universal deadline to make a college decision is May 1st.

By now you should be starting to receive financial aid letters. These letters are important as they will give you a bottom line for what you will need to pay. College is an expensive proposition but for those who appreciate education and have strong career goals that require a college education, the investment can be rewarding. Knowing what your bottom line is going to be should be part of your decision process when considering where you will attend.

If you haven't completed your FAFSA now is the time to do it!

There are some upcoming Financial Aid Events coming up that I think could be important for you. They are hosted by PHEAA's private lending team. PHEAA is the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (aka: Pennsylvania's Financial aid!)

Each newsletter has information about PHEAA and their programs. I don't highlight them all but I really do recommend that you check them out! The two I am highlighting today are listed below!

I've also included the Financial Aid and PHEAA information that I provide in each newsletter.

Best to you all!

Mrs. deQuevedo
