Our School
We are hiring: ELC-8th Grade Marketing Coordinator
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our team at St. John’s School. Our Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for promoting St. John’s School (ELC-8th Grade) to prospective families and the broader community, increasing awareness of our programs, and supporting enrollment initiatives. The Marketing Coordinator will create compelling communications across digital and print platforms, coordinate events, and collaborate with staff to tell the story of our school in a way that reflects our Christian values and mission and positively influences enrollment and retention.
We invite families to share this opportunity with others in their network who may be a great fit for this role.
Please see here for more details. Interested parties should contact Dr. Barnard directly.
Campus Safety Update
At St. John’s School ELC–8th Grade, the safety of our students and staff remains a top priority, and we have invested around a quarter of a million dollars directly towards campus safety in recent years. In 2023, we collaborated with the Office for School Safety to conduct a facility audit. While our general results were strong, we have worked consistently to address any additional considerations they proposed. We revisited with them during this past Fall Break to review our upgrades and stay current with best practices in the field, and we want to take a moment to share our progress with our community.
Exciting Matching Gift Opportunity
A generous alumnus has offered up to $125,000 in matching funds to help offset the cost of recent building improvements, freeing up resources for future projects.
We are so thankful to have already received over $53,000 towards this matching fund.
If you would like to contribute toward this fund, St. John’s gratefully accepts donations in the following forms:
-
Cash
-
Checks
-
Credit cards (via Vanco)
-
Wire transfers
-
Stock gifts
-
Cryptocurrency
For assistance with wire transfers, stock gifts, or cryptocurrency donations, please contact Dr. Barnard directly.
Volunteer for WatchDOGS
We invite the men of our community—dads, grandfathers, uncles, and other special men—to join Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) at St. John’s ELC–8th Grade. This one-time, 4-hour program provides positive male role models, supports safety and student well-being, and gives fathers and father figures a meaningful way to experience school life alongside their children.
Volunteer for Reading Rockstars
Become a Reading Rockstar and help our younger students grow as readers! Volunteers commit to 30–60 minutes a week for 4 consecutive weeks, working one-on-one or in small groups to build strong reading habits and a lifelong love of reading.
