KAES Keenections

Pursuing the Joy of Salvation, Knowledge, Leadership, and Community

We had a great Week of Worship that was planned and led out by the 8th grade class. Special thanks to the many others across the grades that also helped. From singing, game shows, videos, activities, and messages of faith, we hope everyone was encouraged to strengthen their faith like Noah, Joseph, Rahab, Gideon and Jesus. We want to thank the Keene Church for allowing us to use the sanctuary and Pastor Ruben for helping with the audio visual.

Congratulations to Mr. Weaver for completing his Masters degree! Higher education is demanding enough but to complete it with a family and while teaching full time just speaks to your dedication. We were glad to celebrate with you to recognize this amazing accomplishment.

If you have already registered, please tell your friends. If you haven't registered, don't delay any longer! Classes can and may fill up. Registration is on a first come, first served bases. We do not save spots if you are not registered. Register now and get the peace of mind that everything is ready for next year. If you need help just reach out to Mrs. Mimi and she can walk you through the process.

KAES teachers have been feeling the love all this week. All of us have been so spoiled this week. You celebrated our teachers with breakfast, gifts, slushies, pies, goodie bags and so many cute cards written by students. I almost want to keep school going another couple months. Thank you for being such amazing parents and guardians. We love partnering with you.

Thank you mothers and grandmothers for coming to our Mothers Day event. The students and teachers loved pampering you. You are the glue that keep us all together. We all wish you a special Mothers Day!

Each year KAES holds a constituency meeting to inform our community, church and school about what is happening and what plans are in the works for our school. All are welcome to come next Tuesday and find out more about KAES.

Mark your calendars because next Thursday is our annual KAES Field Day. During field day those in grades Preschool though fifth grade will participate in various water events. From bounce house waterslides to sprinklers this event is fun. So get out your swimsuits and get ready to get wet. We do ask that students wear modest swimsuits. Shirts can be worn overtop of swimsuits to protect from the sun and aid in modesty.
