AP Exams

AP exam payment for spring semester AP courses (Economics & Government) is open January 23 through February 9. Exam fees are available in Online School Fees beginning January 23. Payment finalizes the student’s AP exam registration.

Students in a fall or full year AP course who have not paid for their exam can pay by contacting their Campus Testing Facilitator by February 9. There is a $50 late fee per exam.

AP Exam refund requests must be made by February 9. Refunds will be returned in the form of credit to the student's OnlineSchoolFees account, minus a $50 unused exam fee, and can be used for future purchases.

To make a late payment or request a refund, please contact Campus Testing Facilitator, Lauren Phillips at PhillipsL@friscoisd.org.

February 9 is the FINAL AP registration, payment and refund request deadline for Frisco ISD. No exceptions! (Note: This date is prior to the date given by College Board, but due to the volume of testing and processing time, this date is the final deadline for all FISD students.)

For more information about AP Exams, go to FISD Advanced Academics.

Trail Blazer Character Recognition MP2

In the spirit of recognizing and reinforcing positive behaviors on campus, our staff has nominated students based on November and December's character strengths—Honesty and Kindness. Each teacher selected one student in their class/program that they feel exemplifies one of these character strengths. If your student’s name is on the below list, they will receive a certificate that includes a short statement on why their teacher nominated them. Congratulations to all the students who received recognition for Honesty and Kindness!

Course Registration for 2024-2025 School Year

Please see email from FISD Communications regarding February 19, 2024 deadline for course request changes: [sent on 12/19 from communications@friscoisd.org]

Frisco ISD families,

As you know, we are in the middle of the course selection process for the 2024-25 school year.

The latest: Middle and high school course requests will be accepted until Feb. 19, 2024.

  • After Feb. 19, only changes for programs or any application/audition-based courses will be allowed. The process for submitting any allowed course request changes (per the middle and high school academic guide) will be communicated by each campus at a later date.

Context: FISD wants to have the correct staff in place for the courses students have selected.

  • In the past, students have been able to make changes through April.

  • The late changes created and dissolved class sections, wreaking havoc on the campus hiring process and master schedule.

Dig deeper: Explore FISD course offerings.

  • Watch a video to learn how to explore the course catalog.

  • Explore the Student Opportunity Model and how it differentiates FISD from neighboring districts.

Watch the campus newsletter for information from counselors regarding course selection activities and meetings scheduled for students and parents. As always, your campus counselor is ready to support you in selecting courses that meet your students' needs.
