Week of February 16, 2025 Week of February 16, 2025

Good Evening Tigers,

This is Noel Keener, the proud principal of Ragsdale High, with this week's updates. Remember, there is no school for students Monday, February 17. It is a teacher work day.

Believe it or not, the first interim reports for semester 2 are scheduled to go out Tuesday, February 18.

Way to go Mars Teamer and Nathaniel Griffin who were named Students of the Week! See our newsletter for more details!

Registration for the 2025-2026 school year will begin soon! We will be sending out information so that you can explore options with your child before the one on one sessions your child will have with their counselor.

Congratulations to Elle Dawson who finished 9th in the state for both the 1600m and the 3200m this weekend at the Indoor Track State Championships. Another congratulations to Eric Heuangpraseuth and Hake Cyrus who qualified for the Wrestling 4A Regional State Championship.

Conference play for basketball begins this week! Our Women will be at home Monday, Feb 17 @ 6pm vs Southeast Guilford and our Men will play at 7:30pm at Northern Guilford High.

Parents of 9th graders: due to the possibility of inclement weather this week, we are postponing our February 19th parent night and combining it with our parent night on the 26th. So, parents of ALL underclassmen: we are looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday, February 26th at 5:15! Dinner is provided! A teacher from each department will be present to answer questions about classes, and we will cover information about registration, planning out the remaining years of high school, and planning for after high school!

Thank you , have a great week, and, as always, TIGER PRIDE!
