❤️ Red Ribbon Week 2026

Students are getting ready for Red Ribbon Week® 2026, and this year’s theme is “Make a Difference. Be a Hero. Stay Drug Free.™” Throughout the week, students will participate in activities that encourage healthy choices and promote a drug-free lifestyle.

We encourage you to partner with us at home by discussing the importance of making healthy decisions with your children. Conversations around the dinner table, during family outings, and with friends and extended family can make a lasting impact. Together, we can help our students understand that the choices they make today can shape their futures!

INTEGRITY, DEDICATION, WISDOM

At TSA we prioritize Integrity, Dedication, and Wisdom as our Core Characteristics of Success.

Integrity

Tomball Star Academy students and staff are called to live up to and into a spirit of integrity at every turn. High quality instruction, robust support of social-emotional needs, and rich collaborative culture are the standards to which we hold ourselves accountable as a community.
Dedication
Tomball Star Academy students and staff are dedicated to the challenge of teaching, leading, and learning in the Early College High School model. We dedicate today to the work that makes tomorrow possible. Daily we commit to: “Keep digging in. Keep doing the hard things. And keep your ‘Wings Up’!”
Wisdom
Tomball Star Academy students and staff value the growth and development that lead to wisdom. We celebrate individuality and innovation as pathways to wisdom, and value progress over perfection. Wisdom is the result of our experiences.

Learning Hands-Only CPR in PE!

Our PE students are learning skills that could one day save a life! As part of our American Heart Challenge fundraiser, students have been practicing Hands-Only CPR, learning how to use an AED, reviewing the Heimlich maneuver, and recognizing the warning signs of a stroke. These hands-on lessons go beyond the classroom, equipping our students with practical knowledge and the confidence to respond in an emergency. We are proud to see our Owls building skills that can make a real difference in their communities!

Exploring Future Healthcare Careers

Our freshmen in Principles of Health Science are already exploring the many possibilities available in the healthcare field! This week, students researched careers that interest them and presented their findings to the class. The range of interests was impressive, including cardiothoracic surgery, radiology, neonatal nursing, infectious disease specialists, and more! We are excited to see how our Health Science pathway helps these students build the knowledge and skills to pursue their goals and make a difference in the lives of others.

Culture Day at TSA

Our TAP World Geography students took learning around the world this week during Culture Day! Students researched their own cultural heritage and shared what they learned with their classmates. This activity connected their geography studies to the social, political, and economic factors that influence where and how people live around the world. Students also had the opportunity to bring in foods representing their cultures, while Mrs. Frost added to the adventure with international delicacies such as barbecue crickets, durian, and more! It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our diverse backgrounds, learn from one another, and experience a little taste of the world right here at TSA.
