New Stadium Protocols in DCSD
August 12, 2025
Dear DCSD Families and Staff,
We are excited to welcome you to another great season of athletics and activities here in the Douglas County School District. Nothing builds community like watching a game and cheering on your favorite team. It is our goal to ensure our events are safe, enjoyable, welcoming, and family-friendly. We hope you will join in on the fun this year.
As we continue to prioritize the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all who attend our events, we’ve made several updates to our District Stadium Procedures for Spectators.
These changes are being made proactively, based on best practices across our state, in order to provide more consistency across all of our stadiums and to ensure we have a secure, family-friendly environment for everyone who attends events at DCSD stadiums.
You’ll begin to see new signage and updated protocols in place at each of our school district stadiums in the coming weeks.
Please take a moment to review the following policy updates.
