AGS LINKS of the Month AGS LINKS of the Month

Congratulations to Palmer Hedrick, Emma Dean, and Kellyn Conley for being selected as the AGS LINK Students of the Month. These awesome 7th graders have been great mentors and friends. Their leadership, positivity, and caring attitudes are just a few reasons why they have earned this honor. Thank you Palmer, Emma, and Kellyn for helping to make AGS a great place for our students and staff!

A vertically oriented image with a light beige background announces the "Art Show '24-'25." The design features hand-drawn style illustrations of various art supplies scattered around the central text. At the top left is a painter's palette with daubs of brown, yellow, white, teal, and olive green paint. To the right of the palette is a thin paintbrush with a light brown handle and light-colored bristles. Above the central text, a brown tube of paint with a black cap is tilted, with a blob of light green paint squeezed out next to its opening. The cap of the paint tube sits nearby. The central text reads "Art" in a large, teal, cursive font, stacked above "Show" in a slightly smaller, brown, cursive font, and then "'24-'25" in a smaller, teal, sans-serif font. Below the title, event details are provided in a brown, sans-serif font: "APRIL 24TH" indicating the date. "5-7 PM" specifying the time. "@ AGS MIDDLE SCHOOL" stating the location. "FEATURING WORK FROM" "THE STUDENTS OF" "MRS. DMOCH" "&" "MRS. BIRCHMEIER" listing the teachers whose students' artwork will be displayed. Scattered around this central information are more illustrations of art supplies. To the left of "Art Show" is a palette knife with a light brown handle and a silver blade. Below it are two paintbrushes: one with a black handle and light brown bristles pointing upwards, and another with a light brown handle and tan bristles pointing towards the bottom left. To the left of "Show" is a black marker with a white tip. To the right of the central text, there are two more paintbrushes: one with a brown handle and white bristles pointing upwards, and another with a red handle and white bristles pointing towards the bottom right. Below the red-handled brush is a brown tube of paint with a black cap, oriented vertically. At the bottom center, the phrase "See you there!" is written in a large, teal, cursive font. Below this, partially visible at the very bottom, is the handle and bristles of a wide, light blue paintbrush pointing upwards. The overall style is whimsical and inviting, suggesting a student art show. The use of varied fonts and hand-drawn elements contributes to a friendly and creative atmosphere. The contrast between the text colors (teal and brown) and the light beige background ensures readability.
