π¬ Principal's Message
Hello, Reynolds Families!
I wanted to share some exciting news from this week! Several members of our staff participated in Reynolds Rounds on Monday, where they had the opportunity to visit classrooms across our campus. These instructional rounds allow our team to observe the incredible teaching and learning happening in every corner of our building. It was wonderful to hear their feedback as we continue to implement and monitor our campus goal of providing responsive instruction for each student, which aligns with our Campus Plan-on-a-Page goal - Together We Champion. Our teachers did an outstanding job showcasing what makes Reynolds such a special place for learning!
End of Grading Period Reminders
Our first nine-weeks is done! Can you believe it?! As we approach the end of our first grading period, this is an important time to check in on your child's progress. Here are three things you can do from home to help ensure your student's success:
- Check Skyward regularly - Log into the parent portal to review current grades, missing assignments, and teacher feedback. This gives you a clear picture of where your child stands academically.
- Communicate with teachers - If you have questions or concerns about your child's performance, reach out to their teachers. Our staff is here to partner with you in supporting your student's growth.
- Create a plan for missing work - If your child has incomplete assignments, work with them to develop a realistic plan for catching up before the grading period closes. Time management and organization are important skills to practice together. Check out our tutoring schedule here to see when teachers are available to help.
PINK OUT Pep Rally
We're so excited about our upcoming PINK OUT pep rally on Tuesday, October 7th! Our 6th grade students will get pumped up at their pep rally in the morning, while our 7th and 8th grade students will get game day ready at their pep rally in the afternoon. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to show their Eagle spirit and pride while supporting an important cause. We can't wait to see everyone decked out in pink and celebrating together as a school community!
Thank you for your continued partnership in your child's education. Together, we can ensure every student reaches their full potential.
Soaring together,
Dr. Jess Mullins
Principal, Reynolds Middle School
